Looking after your well-being and why coming to WiT is good for you
by Hannah Jeacock
Personal well-being is an important topic, even more so after the events of the past year. Well-being at work is an increasingly used term but what is it and how is it different to personal well-being?
In this talk we’ll learn what makes up well-being at work and some key tips on how to improve your own well-being at work, particularly around finding social groups (cue Women in Tech...), and around ensuring you enjoy and give your best at work.
About Hannah
Hannah Jeacock has worked in tech for 16 years in various software engineering and management roles. At MHR, Hannah heads up the Research team who work to bring new ideas to life. Research interests include the well-being and performance at work, AI in HR, and using data science to inform people decisions. She is keen to understand a variety of viewpoints and is always happy to listen to new thoughts and feedback.
Hannah says "I love working with people and supporting them through their careers. I'm very lucky now that I can (try to) do this at scale as the research we do ultimately gets built into our employee-centric software."
