Go Big and Go Home
by Rob Redpath
Is anyone else not wearing pants today? Rob Redpath explores the good, the bad and the ugly of remote working.
Happier staff, shorter commutes, flexibility, we’ve read the blog posts and heard the arguments, but Rob has been living remote working life for almost three years. He’ll share with Tech Nottingham the truth, the challenges, the best bits and the worst, and we’ll discuss how you and your organisation can benefit from working in the same way.
About Rob Redpath
Rob is a Systems Engineer turned Product Owner at World Wide Web Hosting and splits his life between Nottingham, Cambridge and Coventry without missing a day of work. He is community leader in St. Nic’s Church in Nottingham, goes mountain biking on his lunch break and is currently planning a wedding.
Brand Values Workshop
by Rob Mathers
What does your company stand for? For tech companies in particular, it's easy to be seen as a commodity by your customers but to go beyond that and have a strong connection with your audience, you'll need to establish your brand values.
Rob will host a workshop to share the importance of brand values by defining them across products, services and what companies can contribute beyond the things they sell.
By the end of the session, you should have the understanding needed to define and implement effective brand values for your business to turn your customers into your devoted fanbase.
About Rob Mathers
Rob began his career at the European arm of Liquid Agency, a global branding house based in Silicon Valley. He is currently the Marketing Executive at the Host Europe Group, where he manages marketing campaigns and projects for brands including 123-reg and Heart Internet.
